How to drink water properly to become healthy: 5 simple rules

Water participates in all vital processes of our body, and without it a person can live only a few days. These simple rules will help you to drink water properly, so that your body works like a clock.

1. Water in the morning.

Starting a day with a glass of water is right for several reasons. First, during the sleep in our body, there were many important processes that involved water supplies. Only with breathing a person loses up to 800 ml of water in one night. Now these stocks need to be replenished.

Secondly, while we sleep, as a result of the vital activity of our cells, tissues, organs, systems, waste accumulates, most of it settles in the intestine. That is why it is so important to conduct a "wet cleaning" by drinking a couple glasses of water immediately after awakening.

2. Drink before eating.

For digestion, our body uses a lot of resources, but it needs energy to produce saliva, gastric juice and a variety of enzymes. Therefore, it is advisable to drink one or two glasses of water half an hour before meals to stimulate all these important processes and simplify them.

3. Drink after eating.

Many nutritionists are agreed in opinion that it is not necessary to drink water while consuming the food. Water dilutes the gastric juice and enzymes, complicating the process of digestion. It is advisable to drink water after 1.5-2 hours after taking food.

4. Drink during sports.

Active physical activity uses water reserves in the body. We lose them with sweat and breathing. That is why it is very important to drink pure non-carbonated water during training and do it within an hour after training.

5. Tea, juice and other liquids - they are not water.

Remember that all drinks that we drink in a day can not be considered water, which our body needs every day in the amount of approximately 2 liters. It's just about pure drinking water, which cells use for their livelihoods. Therefore, in addition to green tea, a decoction of berries and freshly squeezed juices, you need to consume about 2 liters of clean water a day.
